Job Title: Sonographer Profession: Allied Health Specialty: Ultrasound Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8H Days Hours per Shift: 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience License: ARDMS Echo Registered Tech and RVT if applicable Certifications: BLS (AHA), Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Adult Echocardiography (RDCS-AE) via ARDMS Must-Have: EPIC charting proficiency Description: The position requires a qualified Sonographer specializing in ECHO or ECHO/Vascular. Candidates must possess a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in echo or echo/vascular settings. Proficiency in ECHO skills is essential, including 2D Echo, Color Flow Doppler, Spectral Doppler with imaging, Non-Imaging CW Doppler, full assessment of stenotic valves, M-Mode, and use of Ultrasound Contrast. Vascular proficiency is also required, specifically in carotid Doppler exams, segmental Doppler exams, upper and lower extremities, venous Doppler exams, bypass grafts, dialysis grafts, transcranial Doppler exams, and mesenteric/renal Doppler. Previous travel experience is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates should have a thorough understanding of patient care procedures and be able to maintain a high standard of professionalism. EPIC charting proficiency is necessary, as training is not provided during the onboarding process. Flu vaccination is mandated, with exemptions requiring documented medical evidence. The role involves working a Monday through Friday schedule, providing essential ultrasound services in an outpatient setting.
