Job Title: Cardiac ECHO Sonographer Profession: Ultrasound Tech Specialty: Echocardiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 15:30 Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: 2 years License: Required Certifications: CCI or RDCS, BLS, and ACLS (must be from AHA) Must-Have Skills/Experience: Adult ECHO Description: This facility is a 198-bed, level III trauma center. It includes state-of-the-art operating suites. The facility provides healthcare services to a diverse region. Services include medical, surgical, and rehabilitation care. The facility offers a childbirth center, cancer center, nephrology unit, pediatric unit, inpatient behavioral health unit, day surgery center, and extensive imaging and lab testing services. It has received accreditation for its PCI, Mammography, and Laboratory services. The facility has been recognized as one of the Top 20 Most Beautiful Hospitals in the U.S. It has also received the Reputation 800 Award in Healthcare. The surrounding area features three rivers, four golf courses, five lakes, and six National Parks. There are thousands of acres available for off-roading and outdoor adventures. Community attractions include hiking, kayaking, and historical sightseeing. The patient population includes individuals of all age groups. Candidates must have pediatric experience. This position is part of a great and engaging team. The shift schedule includes call every fifth weekend. Required certifications include CCI or RDCS, BLS, and ACLS from AHA. Preferred experience with pediatric ECHO is encouraged. Common diagnoses and treatments will be cardiac-related. The equipment used includes GE Vivid E95. The electronic health record system in use is Cerner. There is no floating requirement for this position.
