Job Title: Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Echo Tech Cardiac Sonographer Pediatrics Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 07:30 - 16:00 Experience: Minimum 3 years in Outpatient Pediatric Echo required License: Permanent License required Certifications: ARDMS RDCS PE, BLS Must-Have: - 3 years of experience in Outpatient Pediatric Echo - ARDMS PE Certification required Description: Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer needed for an Ambulatory Echo Lab. BLS and ARDMS PE certification are required. Position requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in outpatient pediatric echocardiography. Facility is an acute care facility with 485 staffed beds. Charting system used is Epic. Daily patient census is approximately 138 with an average of 100 visits per day. The unit supports various interdisciplinary teams including IV teams, physical therapy, and respiratory services. Pediatric patient age groups include neonates, infants, adolescents, and adults. Job responsibilities include performing echocardiograms and working with pediatric patients in the outpatient setting. Candidates must have experience with 2-D and 3-D echocardiography, as well as knowledge in various pediatric cardiac conditions. Additional skills in imaging contrast and isolation precautions are preferred. Verifiable professional references from two of the last three places worked are required.
