Job Title: Cardiac Sonographer / Echo Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Echo Tech Cardiac Sonographer Pediatrics Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 5x8 (08:00 - 16:30) Experience: Minimum of one year of cardiac pediatric echo experience. Minimum of six months of pediatric echocardiography experience. License: Registered Cardiac Sonographer Certifications: BLS, ARDMS RDCS, PERDSC-Peds, RCS, or RCCS Must-Have: Strong experience in pediatric echocardiography with a preference for three years in all modalities. Description: Seeking a Cardiac Sonographer / Echo Tech for a pediatric unit. The position involves performing cardiac echo studies on both inpatient and outpatient basis. The daily caseload consists of 4-5 patients per session. Candidates must be graduates of an accredited echocardiography training program or have equivalent experience in pediatric or adult echocardiography. Certifications required include RDCS, RCS, or RCCS. The role is part of a patient care team dedicated to high-quality patient care. Experience with advanced techniques in echocardiography and pediatric-specific protocols is preferred. Candidate must be able to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Flexibility to float to other areas as necessary is required. Python proficiency is a plus. Infection control and safety protocols must be adhered to at all times. Candidates are expected to handle emergencies and critical situations effectively. The position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
