Job Opportunity – Echocardiography / Cardiac Sonographer – Georgia

Start Date: August 10, 2026

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Every other weekend coverage required; floating within facility/scope of practice as needed; no call required

Highlights:

• Minimum 3 years of experience required; previous travel experience mandatory
• Epic charting system utilized facility-wide
• Left-handed scanner required for this unit
• Diverse case mix including 2-D/3-D echo, TEE, stress echo, bubble studies, and advanced imaging techniques
• Variety of equipment platforms including GE, Philips, Siemens, Hitachi, Toshiba, and SonoSite
• Holiday coverage required based on assignment length; maximum 7 days pre-approved time off allowed

Requirements:

• Georgia state license or Compact license required at time of submission
• Active BLS certification
• ARDMS, CCI RCS, RDCS, or equivalent cardiac sonography certification required
• Minimum 3 years of echocardiography experience; first-time travelers not accepted
• Previous travel experience required
• Proficiency in Epic charting system
• Experience with adult acute care, emergency department, and/or ICU settings preferred
• Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
• Skills in advanced echo techniques including diastology, LV strain/volume, Simpson's Rule, and PISA
• In-person interview required for all candidates, including local applicants
• Full compliance documentation required prior to start date
