Description

American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer for a travel assignment requiring at least 1 year of experience and left-handed scanning ability.

Details

• Cardiac sonography / echocardiography unit in an acute care hospital setting
• Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Every other weekend required for coverage
• No call required
• Floating within the facility and scope of practice as needed
• 12-week contract length

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of echo/cardiac sonography experience required
• Left-handed scanning ability is required for this position
• Active professional licensure required, if applicable
• Copies of relevant certifications required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
• Travelers must have been away from all facilities in this health system for a minimum of 1 full year before returning as a traveler
• Local candidates are accepted
• RTO maximum of 7 days; RTO cannot be requested during the first week of the assignment
• If one or two major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work all of them with no holiday RTO
• If three major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of them, with one holiday RTO request eligible for review
• Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
• No alternate shifts or special schedule requests are permitted; the listed shift is firm
• Full compliance is required to begin on time; late compliance may result in a start date delay
