Position: Cardiac Sonographer II $$SN$$
Facility: Boston Children’s Hospital
Location: Boston, Massachusetts
Worksite: 300 Longwood Avenue, Boston, MA
Job Type:Permanent Position
Shift: Days – 8-hour shifts
Schedule: Monday–Friday, plus on-call requirements
Perform comprehensive pediatric cardiac echocardiography examinations.
Conduct examinations independently according to established protocols.
Perform studies in the laboratory and with portable equipment as needed.
Assist in supervising and supporting echocardiography procedures within the non-invasive lab.
Plan examination methodology and ensure high-quality imaging.
Explain examination procedures to patients and families.
Maintain and evaluate laboratory equipment and supplies.
Maintain required logs, records, and inventory.
Provide guidance and instruction to sonographers, trainees, and fellows.
Assist with clinical research studies and collection of required clinical data.
