Key Responsibilities
- Perform echocardiography scans as part of an interdisciplinary care team, with an expected volume of approximately 7–8 scans per day
- Contribute professional and clinical knowledge in the provision and management of patient care
- Utilize the Epic EMR system to document and manage patient information
- May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses
- Work 1–2 summer holidays as assigned (Memorial Day, Independence Day, or Labor Day)
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Cardiovascular & Vascular Sonographer experience, with 24 months reflected in work history
- At least 1 completed travel contract
- Epic EMR experience required
- Active Iowa license at time of submission
- RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) certification required
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) required
- Certification from ARDMS or CCI required; RVT certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- RCS credential accepted in addition to RDCS
- Professional reference or performance evaluation from a charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO within the past 24 months
