Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Cardiac Sonographer to work at a facility in Stony Brook , NY
Pay Rate: $60.84 / hour
Shift:
8A-4P OR 9A-5P
Minimum Qualifications:
At least one year (12 months) of experience as a Cardiac Sonographer
A valid and current license issued by the State of NY
A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association)
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) with ARDMS.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform echocardiograms and cardiac ultrasound exams
Prepare and position patients for procedures
Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment
Capture high-quality images of the heart
Monitor patient comfort and safety during exams
Review images for quality and completeness
Document exam findings and patient information
Assist physicians with cardiac evaluations
Explain procedures to patients and answer questions
Follow safety and infection control procedures
