Position: Echo Technician

Location: Redding, CA

Department: Cardiology

Available Shifts: Full-Time, Daytime

Salary Range: $660.00 - $770.00 per shift (base gross), based on a 36-hour workweek (3x10-hour shifts); equivalent to $60.00 - $70.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducts cardiac ultrasounds to evaluate heart structures and blood circulation
• Accurately captures cardiac measurements
• Assists physicians during intricate procedures
• Supports departmental operations and administrative tasks
• Oversees documentation and information management

Qualifications

Education, Experience, and Training

1. Completion of an Echocardiogram program or equivalent training is mandatory.
2. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required upon hire and must be maintained.
3. Ability to assist physicians with Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE) testing is essential.
4. A minimum of one (1) year of experience as an Echo Technician is required.
5. Experience in a hospital setting within the Cardiology field is preferred.
6. As of July 1, 2017, ARDMS or CCI certification is required.

Compensation Transparency

Our organization provides competitive pay, with an estimated compensation range of $60.00 to $70.00 per hour for this role. This estimate is specific to California and may vary in other locations. The final compensation offered will be determined during the hiring process, taking into account various factors such as skills, relevant experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
