Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ED Case Manager RN for a Level I Trauma teaching hospital, requiring 2+ years of ED case management experience and an active OR RN license.

Details

• Emergency Department case management for adult inpatient and ED populations
• Patient ratio of 1:20-25
• Night shift, 5x8-hour shifts from 3:00pm-11:30pm with rotating weekends and occasional day shifts
• Epic charting system used
• No on-call requirements
• May float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals as needed

Requirements

• Active RN license (OR license required)
• BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA Traditional only, RQI not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of ED Case Management experience required
• Epic experience required
• Must pass background check with no license or background hits accepted
• COVID vaccination proof required with no exemptions

Additional Information

• Provide case management services for adult inpatient and ED patients at a Magnet-designated, Level I Trauma teaching hospital
• Position offers holiday coverage with no additional RTO available
• First-time travelers are accepted
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate with no radius restriction
• Returning staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 6 months to be eligible
• Scrubs may be any color but prints are not allowed
• Daily parking pass required at candidate's cost
