Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an ED/Med-Surg position requiring an active IA or compact RN license and prior nursing experience for a night shift assignment with every other weekend and holiday coverage.

Details

• Med Surg unit caring for both med/surg and emergency department patients
• 13-week assignment
• Night shift schedule from 18:00-06:30
• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• Holiday coverage required for open needs

Requirements

• Active IA or compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association)
• ACLS certification required for ED assignment
• PALS or ENPC certification required for ED assignment
• TNCC certification may be required
• NIHSS certification may be required
• License verification dated within 30 days of start required

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care to both medical/surgical and emergency department patients
• Local candidates accepted in select states including IA
• Radius rule of 60 miles applies for most Trinity Health locations, with exceptions of 90 miles for certain IA and IL locations
