Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Dept position requiring 2+ years of ER experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Emergency Room unit within a 495-bed hospital
• 3p-3a shift schedule with 3x12's (mid-shift)
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• On-call requirement of 1 8-hour call shift per 4-week schedule
• No floating required
• EPIC EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active RN license (VA State or Compact) required
• BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA only), and NIHSS certifications required
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start
• 2+ years of ER nursing experience required
• US SSN required for consideration; Canadian SIN not accepted
• No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Deliver emergency nursing care across a wide range of patient presentations
• Navy blue scrubs required per facility dress code policy
• Must reside outside a 65-mile radius of the facility to be considered; local candidates not accepted
• Holiday coverage required as part of the every-other-weekend/holiday rotation
