Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Level 1 Trauma Emergency Department night shift position requiring BLS and ACLS certifications.

Details

• Level 1 Trauma Adult Emergency Room setting
• Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:30
• Every other weekend requirement
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

• Active IN or compact RN license
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications via AHA
• PALS, TNCC, NIH Stroke Scale, and Ascension CPI certifications preferred
• Nursys license verification within 30 days prior to start required

Additional Information

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols
• Implement and monitor patient care plans while coordinating across disciplines
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders
• Assess and coordinate discharge planning needs with the healthcare team
• Local candidates accepted subject to a radius rule that may affect pay rate
• COVID vaccination is not required
