Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a KS or compact license and prior ED experience.

Details

  • Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
  • 13-week contract assignment
  • Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:30

Requirements

  • Active RN license (KS or compact) currently in hand
  • Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA)
  • TNCC certification required, renewed every 4 years
  • NIH Stroke Scale certification required, updated per group schedule
  • CPI/MOAB High Risk training (online and on-site portions) required
  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
  • Current license and primary source verification (Nursys) required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

  • Provide emergency nursing care within a fast-paced ED environment
  • On-site portion of CPI/MOAB High-Risk training to be completed during orientation
  • COVID vaccination is not required
  • Candidates must reside within the facility's designated radius to qualify for the full travel rate, though local candidates may be considered at a reduced rate
  • Candidates should begin discussing extension opportunities with their manager approximately 45 days before the assignment end date
