Required: RNs must have one year of inpatient experience minimum in the related department with the trauma level shown below                
Required: One year of travel experience is preferred but will consider six months’ travel

Job Summary: Under general supervision, the RN provides nursing care in a Freestanding Emergency Department to a variety of patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex. The role involves delivering competent patient care, assisting physicians in examinations and procedures, administering prescribed medications, performing diagnostic tests, and interacting with patients and families to share care plans and provide discharge instructions.

Required Qualifications:

• One year of nursing experience.
• Knowledge of professional nursing theories, practices, techniques, and procedures.
• Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors.
• Basic computer skills.
• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC).
• Current Basic Life Support certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification (American Heart Association).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Two years of experience in Emergency Department or Critical Care settings.
• Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing from a Board Approved Program.
