Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a Colorado or Compact RN license and multiple specialty certifications.

Details

• Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
• Variable mids/night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts
• 36 hours per week across 3 days per week
• Weekend shifts required
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on business need
• May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
• Uses Epic for clinical documentation

Requirements

• Active CO or Compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience required
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, and NIHSS (all AHA, must not expire prior to start)
• Epic EMR charting experience preferred
• Documentation of date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted nursing practice standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while monitoring treatment plans
• Provide patient education, counseling, and referrals as needed
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Previous permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year to be eligible for this assignment
