Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care to a diverse patient population in a 65-bed, pod-based Emergency Department.
• Perform assessments, documentation, IV insertions, phlebotomy, EKGs, and cardiac monitoring.
• Conduct point-of-care testing and splinting.
• Utilize critical thinking skills to manage patient care effectively.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and health maintenance.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Nursing experience.
• Proficiency in general ED nursing skills.
• Current AHA Certified BLS and ACLS certifications.
• NRP certification required; TNCC strongly preferred.
• Experience with EPIC ASAP EMR system is advantageous.
• Willingness to float and rotate shifts as needed, though night positions do not rotate.
