Travel RN Job Details

• Unit: Emergency Department
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,000–$2,100
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekend and Holiday Rotation: Every other weekend and every other holiday
• Start Date: October 19, 2026
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Work Setting: On-site

Emergency Room RN Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license eligible for practice in Michigan
• At least 1 year of recent emergency department or emergency room nursing experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
• Epic electronic medical record experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, patient assessment, communication, and teamwork skills

Emergency Department Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Perform timely nursing assessments and prioritize care for patients presenting with emergent and urgent conditions
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Monitor patient status, recognize changes in condition, and escalate concerns appropriately
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members
• Provide patient and family education regarding treatment, follow-up care, and discharge instructions
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record
• Support a safe, efficient, and compassionate emergency department environment
