Travel Nurse Job Details

• Schedule: 7:00 PM–7:30 AM, every other weekend and every other holiday

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,000–$2,100

Emergency Room RN Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Michigan
• At least 1 year of professional nursing experience; emergency department experience preferred
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certifications
• Strong patient assessment, emergency triage, prioritization, and clinical decision-making skills
• Epic electronic medical record experience preferred
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, alternating weekends, and alternating holidays
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interdisciplinary teamwork skills

Emergency Department Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and prioritize care based on patient acuity
• Deliver timely, evidence-based emergency nursing care to patients with urgent and emergent conditions
• Administer medications and treatments safely in accordance with provider orders, hospital policies, and clinical protocols
• Monitor patient status, recognize changes in condition, and escalate concerns promptly
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, diagnostic services, and other members of the healthcare team
• Document assessments, interventions, patient responses, and discharge instructions accurately in the electronic medical record
• Provide patient and family education, emotional support, and clear discharge guidance
• Maintain a safe, organized, efficient, and compassionate emergency department environment
