• Patient Population: Infants through geriatrics

Job Requirements

• Active Maryland RN license or Compact RN license at time of submission
• 2 years preferred but will consider candidates with less than 2 years of experience with a strong skillset
• Community hospital experience required
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI required
• Epic experience preferred
• Strong clinical skills in triage, acute care, rapid assessment, and emergency nursing interventions
• Ability to work night shifts and thrive in a high-acuity, high-volume ER environment

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, and efficient nursing care to Emergency Department patients of all ages
• Perform rapid assessments, triage, and prioritization of patient needs in a busy ER setting
• Administer emergency medications, IV therapy, and evidence-based nursing interventions
• Monitor and respond to changing patient conditions in a high-volume Emergency Room
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support timely treatment and discharge planning
• Care for patients presenting with medical, behavioral health, pediatric, and geriatric concerns
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold department standards for quality, safety, and patient care
• Support a team-oriented culture while adapting to the pace of a dynamic emergency nursing environment
