Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Summary

This position is for a fast-paced Adult Emergency Department (ED), a state-of-the-art facility that manages over 100,000 visits a year and is recognized as one of the busiest trauma centers in the country. As the only Level I trauma hospital in the region, the ED is responsible for treating a diverse patient population and will also assist with boarder patients.

Job Duties

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Assist with the treatment and management of a diverse array of emergency cases.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure efficient patient flow and optimal patient outcomes.

Work Schedule

This role will require flexibility to work rotating shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Job Requirements

• Active RN License in New York (NY License ONLY).
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in an Emergency Department.
• Telemetry experience is required.
• Previous travel Emergency Department experience is mandatory.

Certifications

• BLS (American Heart Association ONLY).
• ACLS (American Heart Association ONLY).
• NIHSS certification.

Please note that this position does not support first-time travelers.
