Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department or Emergency Room nursing experience required
• Active New Jersey RN license required at the time of application
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Flu immunization required unless a valid medical exemption is provided
• Professional, clean scrubs of any color permitted

Responsibilities

• Provide timely nursing care to patients presenting with acute and urgent medical conditions in the emergency department
• Perform rapid assessments, prioritize care, and respond effectively in high-pressure situations
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols
• Monitor patient status, document care accurately, and communicate changes promptly to the care team
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to support efficient patient flow and quality outcomes in this healthcare setting
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up care
