Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department or ER nursing experience required
• Active New Jersey RN license required at the time of application
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Flu immunization required unless a valid medical exemption with supporting documentation is provided
• Professional, clean scrubs of any color permitted

Responsibilities

• Provide timely, skilled nursing care to patients presenting with urgent and emergent conditions in the Emergency Room
• Perform rapid patient assessments, triage, and ongoing monitoring in a high-acuity emergency care setting
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with provider orders and clinical protocols
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support efficient, high-quality patient care
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and thoroughly in the medical record
• Respond effectively to changing patient conditions and emergency situations
• Support patient and family education while maintaining a calm, compassionate presence
