Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 3 years of ER experience and multiple advanced certifications.

Details

• ED environment treating a wide range of patients including urgent care, psychiatric, pediatric, and critical care/trauma cases
• Manages critical care skills such as medication titrations, arterial lines, mass transfusion of blood, and chest tubes
• Schedule consists of three 12-hour day shifts per week
• 36 hours per week

Requirements

• Active RN license (SC or Compact) currently in hand
• Required certifications: CPI (NCI with Advanced Physical Skills Training course), NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, BLS, and ACLS (AHA only)
• Minimum 3 years of ER experience required
• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program required
• BSN highly desired
• Prior work experience must be from a United States hospital in the specialty area

Additional Information

• Coordinates and delivers care to patients with complex nursing needs to ensure the highest level of safety and quality while promoting a positive patient experience
• Must live 100 miles or more from the facility with no local candidates accepted
• Two manager or supervisor references verifying most recent experience within the previous 12 months are preferred, with at least one from the most recent employer
