Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced ED RN for a night shift position at a Level 2 trauma teaching hospital in Poughkeepsie, NY, requiring NY RN licensure and a minimum of 2 years of ED experience.
Details
- Work setting is a 349-bed acute care teaching hospital with Level 2 trauma designation
- Position is in the Emergency Department
- Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Alternating weekend rotation required
- Holiday rotation required
- EMR: Cerner
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted NY RN license required; a screenshot or photo of a completed license application is acceptable if the license is pending
- Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA only accepted for all certifications)
- NIHSS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of ED experience required
- CEN or TNCC certification preferred
- Two professional references rated 'standard or above average' from a manager or above within the prior year in the same specialty
- If any certifications are expiring during the assignment, renewal receipt and/or scheduled course dates must be provided
Additional Information
- Candidates must complete onboarding modules prior to the assignment start date
- Local candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are eligible to apply at a reduced rate
- Candidates with previous work history at any Northwell or Nuvance Health location are subject to an eligibility review process before being considered for placement
