Job Summary:
EEG Technologist Registered in Oregon. The EEG technician is responsible for performing adult and pediatric standard and ambulatory electroencephalograms (EEGs) under the supervision of the sleep lab manager and interpreting neurologist. The role involves ensuring accurate data acquisition, patient assessment, education, and maintaining lab equipment and safety protocols.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Day shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Certification by the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET); preferred certification as Registered EEG Technologist (R EEG T); location in Oregon; at least 1 year of relevant experience
  • Preferred Qualifications: Certification as R EEG T
  • Additional Information: The EEG technician will perform routine and ambulatory EEGs, ensure quality documentation, create preliminary reports, and process interpreted study reports. Responsibilities include equipment maintenance, infection control, patient safety, and participation in quality assurance programs.
