Job Summary:
The Healthcare Professional is an EEG Technologist Registered located in Rochester, Minnesota. This role involves performing neurodiagnostic testing including electroencephalograms (EEGs), evoked potentials, autonomic testing, and nerve conduction studies. The position requires providing precise patient preparation, data acquisition, and ensuring a safe testing environment to support inpatients and outpatients.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Evening shifts, 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week, with shifts on Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, and Monday and Tuesday from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. The assignment duration is approximately 13 weeks.
  • Required Qualifications: Minimum of an associates degree in Applied Science or related science. Current certification as a Registered Neurodiagnostic Technologist, Clinical Neurophysiology Technologist graduate, or current CNT student. Must hold a current certification in Basic Life Support. EEG registry or CLTM registry is required.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated leadership, strong communication skills (verbal and written), and flexibility to adapt rapidly. Experience supporting patients in Epilepsy Monitoring Units and inpatient settings is preferred. Competency in neurodiagnostic procedural testing using the standard 10-20 or 10-10 electrode placement systems for adult and pediatric EEGs is essential. Additional responsibilities include monitoring EEG recordings, troubleshooting equipment, assisting with SPECT injections, and acting as a liaison between nursing and medical staff. Candidates should be able to mentor rotating student technologists.
