Position: Cardiac Stress Test Technician $$SN$$
Location: New London, New Hampshire
Shift: Days – 4x10s (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM), 40-hour guarantee
Duration: 13 weeks

Job Duties

• Conduct treadmill or bicycle cardiac stress tests under physician supervision, including pre-test evaluation, vital signs, and medication review.

• Monitor patient responses to exercise, document physiologic observations, and terminate testing when appropriate clinical or ECG endpoints are reached.

• Review and summarize exercise tracings for physician interpretation and document test performance in the medical record.

• Perform 12-lead ECGs, ensure high-quality recordings, and submit results for provider interpretation.

• Ensure ECGs are reviewed by the provider before the patient leaves.

• Educate patients on stress testing and cardiac monitoring procedures.

• Apply cardiac monitors according to manufacturer instructions and track monitor equipment.

• Perform preliminary reviews of Holter monitor recordings.

• Maintain adequate supplies, equipment, emergency medications, and defibrillator readiness.

• Conduct equipment and resuscitation-material checks and maintain required records.

• Participate in medical rounds related to stress-test patients and support quality-assurance activities.

• Maintain accurate documentation and follow established cardiac testing procedures.
