Job Summary: Electrophysiology Nurse at a healthcare facility in Philadelphia, PA. This position involves providing specialized nursing care in an Electrophysiology (EP) Lab, supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. The role requires adaptability to varying case complexities and collaboration within a dynamic clinical environment.
Job Details:
Schedule: Day shifts, 10 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Valid RN (Registered Nurse) license with at least 2 years of clinical experience, including 5+ years in related electrophysiology settings. Certifications required include ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support). Previous travel experience is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications: RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification is recommended.
Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
Additional Information: The Electrophysiology Lab is a 6-room unit with 9 pre/post-procedure bays, handling 10-25 cases daily ranging from diagnostics to complex PCI (Percutaneous Coronary Intervention) and Structural Heart procedures. The shift involves on-call responsibilities 1-2 nights per week and every 4-5 weekends, with on-call nurse to patient ratios up to 1:3 in holding areas and 1:1 during procedures. The environment is fast-paced, supporting a variety of cardiac interventions, and may require reporting to an alternate campus with limited notice.
