The organization is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) for an Electrophysiology (EP) Laboratory position in Asheville, North Carolina. This role involves working in a specialized unit performing procedures related to cardiac electrophysiology, including ablations and device implantations. The position is scheduled for day shifts, with a focus on patient safety, attention to detail, and efficiency during high-complexity procedures.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Day shifts, 10 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. The shift operates from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm.
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, experience in an EP laboratory setting, essential certifications include ACLS and BLS, located within the United States, and a minimum of 0 years of experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: RCES (Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist), RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist), or RT (Radiologic Technologist) with experience in EP procedures.
- Additional Information: The unit has 3 beds with a staff of 17, including day shift personnel. Typical procedures performed include ablations, device implantations such as Watchman, and loop recorders. The environment utilizes equipment such as X-ray, PACS, Cardio Lab systems, Istat, ESI, Carto, Arrhythmia monitoring, Cryo, and EMR (Cerner). The dress code is surgical green scrubs. Weekend coverage involves two days every six weeks (Saturday and Sunday mornings from 7:00 am to 11:00 am).
