Job Summary:
Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Specialist position located in YORK, Pennsylvania. This role involves working in a specialized invasive Cardiology unit with competencies in cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures. The ideal candidate will perform complex cardiovascular interventions and support critical patient care with a focus on advanced cardiovascular treatments.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shift - will work 10-hour shifts between the hours of 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.; must be okay to stay until the last patient is cared for; call may be required
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS), valid Pennsylvania or Compact nursing license, EPIC electronic health record experience, minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in invasive Cardiology or EP Lab, valid certifications and skills including End-Tidal CO2 monitoring, Electrophysiology Lab procedures, Pacemaker and ICD management, Procedural Sedation, Radiation and Laser Safety, Sheath Removal/Monitoring, and vascular access techniques
• Additional Information: The EP Lab unit performs over 6,000 procedures annually, including complex coronary procedures, ventricular assist devices, structural heart interventions, and arrhythmia ablations. Care for COVID-19 patients is possible. The facility maintains a tobacco and fragrance-free environment. Local candidates within 50 miles will be prioritized with a lower billing rate.
• Start Date: 08/17/2026
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in relevant clinical or procedural experience
• Travel & Licensing: Travel occurrence is expected; candidates must hold a PA license with no license restrictions. The candidate must have NBSTSA certification as an OR Technician or Surgical Tech.
• Certifications & Skills: AHA or ARC certifications only; experience with End-Point Monitoring, Cardiac Ablation, Cardioversion, Procedural Sedation, Vascular Closure Systems, and IV management are required.
• Additional Notes: Completion of billable modules prior to start; passing an EKG exam within 72 hours of signing the travel contract is required.
