Job Summary:
Electrophysiology Laboratory (EP Lab) Specialist position available in a healthcare setting. The role involves providing specialized cardiac and electrophysiological procedures, supporting complex cardiovascular interventions, and ensuring patient safety during invasive electrophysiology procedures. The position requires working day shifts with a schedule of 10-hour shifts, totaling a minimum of 40 hours per week, starting on 10/19/2026 and ending on 01/18/2027.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shift 10-hour shifts between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.; must be willing to stay until the last patient is cared for; call may be required.
• Required Qualifications: Certified in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS); PA or Compact License; EPIC electronic medical records experience; a minimum of 2 years of experience in the specialized field.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience with charting systems such as EPIC.
• Holidays: Travelers will be expected to work 2 of the 3 upcoming major holidays (Thanksgiving Day/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Years Eve/New Years Day). If the contract overlaps only 2 holidays, working 1 holiday is required. Do not request more than 1 holiday off.
• Additional Information: The unit comprises 4 dedicated Cardiac Catheterization Labs and 2 Electrophysiology Labs, with 23 prep and recovery bays. Procedures include complex coronary interventions, ventricular assist device placements, structural heart procedures, complex ablations, pacemaker/ICD implantation, cardioversion, and pulmonary artery pressure sensors. Candidates may care for COVID-19 patients. Tobacco and fragrance-free environment.
• Certifications & Skills: AHA or ARC certifications; experience with End-Tidal CO2 monitoring, Activated Clotting Time (ACT), antiarrhythmic drugs, cardiovascular procedures, electrophysiology labs, infection prevention, IV infusion management, procedural sedation, 12-lead ECG, pacemaker insertion, and vascular closure systems.
• Other Requirements: Must have NBSTSA certification if applicable; PA license required; passing EKG exam within 72 hours of signing travel contract if applicable; candidates should be within 50 miles of the facility for lower billing rates.
