Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in the Electrophysiology Lab (EP). This position will involve working four 10-hour shifts, starting at either 6 AM or 7 AM. The role includes no call or weekend requirements.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality nursing care in the Electrophysiology Lab.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Administer medications and assist with procedures in the EP lab.
Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes in patient condition.
Educate patients and their families about procedures and post-op care.
Float to other locations as necessary within the region.
Qualifications
Minimum of 24 months of current experience in Electrophysiology/EP, Cardiac Cath/CCL, or Interventional Radiology/IR.
Active Iowa nursing license or compact/multistate nursing license.
ACLS certification from AHA or ARC.
BLS certification from AHA or ARC.
Experience with EPIC CUPID electronic medical record system is preferred.
Prior travel nursing experience is a plus.
Additional Information
The selected candidate will be required to work during 1-2 of the 3 upcoming winter holidays unless the unit is closed.
