Job Summary
Electrophysiology (EP) Specialist, located at a pediatric healthcare facility, is responsible for providing specialized care in pediatric diagnostic and interventional procedures related to congenital heart conditions and electrophysiology. This position involves working within a pediatric cath labs and electrophysiology labs, performing complex procedures such as pacemaker implants, radiofrequency ablations, and structural interventions. The role requires a skilled professional with demonstrated experience in pediatric EP procedures, patient monitoring, and sedation management.

Job Details

• Position Description: 15-week contract working in a pediatric cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology lab, focusing on congenital diagnoses, interventional procedures, and electrophysiology studies.
• Required Qualifications: Experience with pediatric congenital diagnostic and interventional procedures, pacemaker implant/genator exchanges, EP studies with radiofrequency ablations for SVT, WPW, atrial Tach, PVC, and monitoring experience preferred. Certifications required include BLS, PALS, RCIS and/or ARRT, current WA state Rad Tech and/or CISC license.
• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Includes 7 call shifts over a 3-week rotation; on-call hours are weekdays from EOS to 0700 following day, weekends from EOS Friday to 0700 Monday, with a 45-minute response time.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with EPIC Cupid system is preferred.
• Additional Information: No float rotation; weekend call only, about 1-2 weekends per month, anticipated every 3rd week; holiday call included in department rotation. Scrubs are provided by the hospital, with extended sizing but not available for lead.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must meet the minimum experience of 2 years with prior pediatric cath lab experience.
