**Join Our Dynamic Team as a Cardiovascular Technologist!** **Job Description:** - Be an integral part of an innovative healthcare team assisting physicians with invasive cardiac and peripheral diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. - Play a key role in temporary and permanent pacemaker placements and the operation of circulatory support devices like IABP and Impella. - Prepare and organize specialized equipment and sterile trays for each exciting procedure. - Collaborate with the procedure room team to position and prepare patient monitoring for optimal outcomes. - Calibrate and test transducers to ensure accurate pressure readings during vital procedures. - Assist physicians throughout diagnostic and interventional procedures while operating power injectors and sterile support equipment. - Skillfully maneuver table controls as requested, contributing to efficient workflow in the procedure room. - Calibrate hemodynamic monitoring equipment, obtain, calculate, and analyze crucial hemodynamic data, including computerized ventriculography data. - Calculate and record cardiac output and oximetry readings to ensure high-quality patient care. - Utilize and maintain digital cine technologies, adhering to protocols for storage and retrieval of patient images and hemodynamic records. - Assist with vascular access, sheath removal, and hemostatic closure devices while ensuring hemostasis at the access site. - Manage inventory control and maintain PAR levels, ensuring equipment readiness for each procedure. - Adhere to clinical practice requirements related to Clinical Cardiovascular Information Systems (CVIS). - Operate equipment safely, preparing and caring for it diligently while returning supplies as necessary. - Participate in catheterization lab on-call responsibilities as per organizational policies. - Apply radial access banding while ensuring hemostasis at access sites. - Recognize and interpret all cardiac arrhythmias to provide exceptional care. - Assist in the maintenance, calibration, and routine evaluation of all diagnostic and technical equipment. **Schedule:** - Options: 11AM - 7:30PM or 9AM - 7:30PM - Work schedule: 5x8 or 4x10 - Weekends and holidays as needed - ON CALL REQUIRED **Experience Required:** - Cath lab/Electrophysiology experience **Skills Required:** - Knowledge of electrophysiology intra-procedure mapping, ablation, and implant devices - Required sterile scrub technique - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Proficient in computer skills including Microsoft Office and Google Suite **Education Requirements:** - Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technologist program, OR - Graduate of a Radiologic Technologist program, OR - Associate degree in Applied Science (AAS) **Certifications & Licensure Required:** - AHA BLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 3 months of employment - Successful completion of the RCIS exam by CCI or Radiologic Technologist License within one year of hire **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
