Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position in Billings, MT, requiring an active MT or compact RN license and a minimum of 1 year of ED experience.

Details

  • Hospital-based Emergency Department setting
  • Variable 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
  • Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
  • On-call during regularly scheduled shifts may be required
  • Epic EMR used for charting

Requirements

  • Active MT or compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
  • Minimum 1 year of ED nursing experience required
  • Current AHA BLS required; must not expire prior to start date
  • ACLS, NRP, or PALS as appropriate for the ED unit
  • Associate's degree in Nursing (ASN) required; BSN preferred
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care in accordance with accepted nursing practice standards
  • Performs health teaching, counseling, and patient referrals as needed
  • Documents care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
  • Former permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year to be eligible for a travel assignment
