Patterns Hiring is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Utica, New York.
Utica, NY | ️ 13 Weeks | ⏱️ 36 hrs/week | Nights (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
Seeking experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurses for a high-volume Level Emergency Department caring for patients across the lifespan. Candidates must have prior travel experience, strong emergency nursing skills, and pediatric experience.
Responsibilities:
Provide emergency care for newborn, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
Perform rapid patient assessments, triage, stabilization, and critical interventions
Manage high-acuity conditions including stroke, sepsis, trauma, myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and emergency treatments
Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary emergency care team
Float to appropriate units as needed
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience with pediatric experience
Previous travel nursing experience required
Charge nurse experience highly preferred
Active New York RN License
Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications
Experience with EPIC EMR

Night shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
Floating required
Block scheduling is not guaranteed
64-bed Emergency Department serving newborn, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
Local and travel candidates accepted (75-mile radius policy)
