**Join the Frontlines of Emergency Healthcare!** **Job Description:** - Are you ready to take your nursing career to new heights in a dynamic and supportive environment? - We are looking for enthusiastic Registered Nurses for our Emergency Department, where teamwork and community care shine! - This bustling ED is part of a leading healthcare facility, recognized nationally for clinical quality and patient safety. **Unit Specifics:** - **Number of Beds:** 101 - **Patient Ratios:** Typically 4:1 for medical, up to 7:1 on ED behavioral holds - **Support Staff:** Techs available for cardiac monitoring and internal processing; unit clerks on duty - **Equipment:** Utilize state-of-the-art baxter pumps and GE monitors - **Documentation System:** Cerner **Schedule Requirements:** - Commitment to every other weekend - Flexible scheduling to meet department needs - Potential to float within ED sections as required **Patient Care Standards:** - Uphold AIDET principles to enhance patient experience - Demonstrate respectful and compassionate behavior toward patients - Keep boards updated with information to ensure patient awareness throughout their visit **Certifications Required:** - ACLS (before start date) - BLS (before start date) - PALS (before start date) - TNCC (before start date) - CPI (before start date) - NIHSS (before start date) - ENPC (within 90 days of hire) **Hiring Profile:** - 2+ years of experience as a nurse, with at least 1 year in an ER setting - Experience in a Level II trauma center or comprehensive stroke center preferred - Must possess a teamwork mentality and the ability to provide real-time coaching and feedback - Flexibility to work in all areas of the ED **Advanced Skills Needed:** - Skills in high-volume ED operations (over 100,000 visits per year) **Dress Code:** - Navy scrubs are required **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
