**Exciting Opportunity for Emergency Room Registered Nurse!** **Job Description:** - **Location:** Emergency Department - **Address:** 509 Biltmore Avenue, Asheville, NC 28801 - **Shift:** 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM - **Unit Highlights:** - 101 beds with a dynamic environment - Patient ratios typically at 4:1; up to 7:1 for ED behavioral holds - Techs available in cardiac monitoring and triage - Dedicated unit clerks available day and night - **Equipment & Technology:** - Use of Baxter pumps and GE monitors - Documentation via Cerner - **Scheduling Requirements:** - Weekends required every other week - Flexibility in scheduling to meet department needs - **Floating Policy:** - No floating outside of the ED but open to working in all sections within the ED - **Patient Experience:** - Deliver exceptional care through AIDET principles - Maintain respectful behavior and keep patients informed - **Certifications Required:** - ACLS - BLS - PALS - TNCC - CPI before Date of Hire - NIHSS - ENPC - **Hiring Profile:** - 2 years’ nursing experience with at least 1 year in an ER setting - Experience in Level 2 trauma centers and high-volume EDs preferred - **Advanced Skills Desired:** - Strong teamwork mentality - Ability to coach and give feedback in real-time - Flexible to work in all ED areas - **Team Environment:** - Known for its stellar teamwork and welcoming atmosphere - Serve a diverse community with over 120 languages in the area **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
