Unit Information

The Emergency Department is equipped with:

• Number of Beds: 50
• Number of Staff: 68
• Staff Composition:
  • Day Shift: 7-8 RNs, 2-3 EMT/Medic
  • Mid Shift: 8-10 RNs
  • Night Shift: 7-8 RNs, 2-3 EMT/Medic
• Patient Ratios: 1:4 or 1:5 (estimated, not guaranteed)
• Type of Equipment: EKG, Cardiac monitors, Blood Glucose monitors
• Electronic Medical Records: Meditech

Typical Hiring Profile

We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:

Required Skills

• Minimum 1 year of current experience in acute care hospital Emergency Department
• Certifications:
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIH)
  • PALS
  • TNCC
  • ENPC
  • CPI Blue Card

Preferred Skills

• Experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center
• Experience with stroke patients
