**Exciting Opportunity: Travel RN - Emergency Department** **Job Description:** - **Unit Information:** - **Number of Beds:** 52 - **Number of Staff:** 134 - **Day Shift Staffing:** - 1 Charge Nurse - 4 Nurses - 1 Tech - 1 Unit Clerk - 1 Physician - 1 Midlevel per pod - **Night Shift Staffing:** - 1 Charge Nurse - 4 Nurses - 1 Tech - 1 Unit Clerk - 1 Physician - 1 Midlevel per pod - **Patient Ratios:** - Average 3:1 - Low Acuity 5:1 - Pediatrics - team nursing (estimated ratios, not guaranteed) - **Type of Equipment:** Alaris - **EMR:** Meditech - **Ideal Candidate Profile:** - **Skills Required:** - Minimum 1-year current hospital Emergency Department experience - Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS & TNCC - CPI Blue card - **Preferred Qualifications:** - Experience in traveling or at large facility areas - Familiarity with Meditech - Experience in a 52-bed ER or larger - Strong understanding of patient experience - **Typical Procedures Performed:** - IV starts - Medication administration - Sedations - Pediatric care - **Best Personality Fit:** - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced ER environment - Diverse and quick learner - Comfortable working with a youthful and dynamic team - **Unit Guidelines/Policies:** - Expectation to scan patients and medications at all times **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
