Travel Nursing Job Details

• Schedule: Three 12-hour day shifts per week, approximately 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.; schedule varies

• Holiday Commitment: Work two major holidays—Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year’s Day—and one minor holiday, such as the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve
• Position Type: Travel Registered Nurse contract

Emergency Department RN Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Department Registered Nurse or Emergency Room RN experience
• Current Registered Nurse license eligible for practice in Georgia
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification or competency
• Ability to work three 12-hour day shifts weekly and meet the stated holiday expectations

Emergency Department Nursing Responsibilities

• Provide timely, compassionate nursing care to patients presenting with a broad range of emergent and urgent conditions
• Perform focused assessments, triage, ongoing monitoring, and reassessments based on patient acuity
• Administer medications and treatments safely while evaluating patient responses
• Recognize changes in patient condition and promptly initiate appropriate interventions
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation and support efficient patient flow through the Emergency Department
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, medications, and follow-up care
• Respond effectively during emergency situations while maintaining a calm, professional approach
