Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting. The RN will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities

• Administer critical care medications and treatments.
• Monitor patients and manage sedation and emergency protocols.
• Conduct assessments for STEMI, Stroke, and Sepsis.
• Perform necessary procedures including intubation and chest tube insertion.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech EDM.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in the state of Tennessee.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and CPI.
• Experience in critical care environments, specifically with gtts, sedation, ESI, and codes.
• Preferred experience in trauma care.
