General Information

Tell us about the unit(s):

· Number of Beds – 38 (including trauma bays, burn room, psych room, vertical treatment area)

· Number of Staff – variable according to volume/census, acuity, etc. There is always a free charge.

· Type of staff:

o RN, advanced paramedic, EMT, unit secretary

· Patient Ratios – variable depending on acuity, volume, etc.

· Type of equipment – standard emergency/trauma

· EMR - Meditech

Typical hiring profile

Skill Set Most recruited for:

Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

· BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC

· SAMA, CPI, or equivalent. If the nurse does not have this, we will assist in providing it and allow a 30 day grace period.

Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.

· ENPC

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):

· Certified chest pain, comprehensive stroke, Level 1 trauma, accredited burn

Best personality Fit:

· Easy going, does not stress, flexible, positive attitude, "patient first” philosophy

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:

· Texas RN licensure or compact license eligible

· BLS, ACLS, TNCC, PALS

Floating Area(s):

· None, however may cross-train for sister facility (Medical City Frisco)

Dress Code :

· Scrub Color/Attire - Royal blue scrubs (branded preferable)

· Self scheduling

Weekends and On call(if any)

· 4 weekend shifts per month
