Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a GA or compact RN license and at least 2 years of specialty experience.

Details

• Emergency Services department setting
• 12-hour night shift schedule, varying between 5p-5am
• 3 shifts per week with 36 guaranteed hours weekly
• Deferred schedule type
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience
• Current AHA BLS, PALS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Cerner EMR experience required

Additional Information

• Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
• Returning perm staff must have a 2-year break before returning as a non-local traveler
• RTO must be requested upfront and cannot be requested after an offer is made
