Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department role requiring at least 1 year of recent ED experience along with TNCC, ENPC, and CPI certifications.

Details

  • Emergency Department with 50 beds and 68 total staff
  • Day shift staffing includes 7-8 RNs and 2-3 EMT/Medics
  • Night shift staffing includes 7-8 RNs and 2-3 EMT/Medics
  • Patient ratios estimated at 1:4 or 1:5, though never guaranteed
  • Uses EKG, cardiac monitors, and blood glucose equipment
  • Meditech EMR used
  • 13-week assignment with a shift schedule of 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM

Requirements

  • Active CO or compact RN license required
  • Minimum 1 year of current acute care ED experience required
  • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC
  • CPI Blue Card required
  • No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
  • US SSN and DOB required for consideration (no Canadian SSN accepted)
  • One professional reference required

Additional Information

  • Responsible for complete ED care needs across all patient types
  • Level 11 trauma experience preferred
  • Stroke care experience preferred
  • Best suited for energetic, collaborative candidates with strong communication skills with staff and providers
  • Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates will not be considered
