**Exciting Opportunity for an Emergency Department RN – 13 Week Contract!** **Job Description:** - **Position**: RN - Emergency Department - **Contract Length**: 13 Weeks - **Shift**: Days (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM) - **Weekends**: Rotate 4 shifts per schedule - **Call Requirements**: N/A **Unit Profile:** - **Location**: Emergency Department - **Number of Beds**: 32+ - **Total Staff**: 117 - **Patient Ratios**: 4:1 **Staffing Overview**: - Day Shift: 1 CNC, 6 RNs, 1 Medic, 1 PCT - Mid Shift: 2 CNCs, 15 RNs, 2 Medics, 2 PCTs - Night Shift: 1 CNC, 6 RNs, 1 Medic, 1 PCT **Essential Qualifications**: - Required Certifications: - TNCC (must have by start date) - ENPC (must have by start date) - ACLS - BLS - Preferred Experience: - Greater than 2 years in an emergency department **Typical Procedures Performed**: - Lumbar Puncture - Intubations - Thrombolytic Therapy (TNK) - Laceration Repair - Suture Removal - Splinting **Ideal Candidate Traits**: - Great team player - Anticipates needs for patients and department **Dress Code**: - Scrub Color: Navy Blue with Navy Blue zip-up sweater - Not Acceptable: Pullover sweatshirts **Additional Information**: - Permanent positions available on unit - New equipment and technology - Experienced staff with a commitment to patient care **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol)**: At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
