Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a TN or compact license and ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, and TNCC certifications.

Details

• Work in the Emergency Department of a 95-bed, Joint Commission-accredited acute care facility
• 7-bed unit including 2 psych rooms and 2 hall beds
• Serves patients of all ages
• Patient ratio of 5:1
• Uses EDIS EMR system
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• 36 weekly guaranteed hours
• Weekend coverage required every other weekend or as needed
• Call requirements as needed
• Floating required as needed

Requirements

• Active RN license (TN or Compact) required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, and TNCC
• Minimum 1+ years of Emergency Department experience required
• Must pass Tennessee Abuse Registry check prior to start

Additional Information

• Provide emergency care to patients across all age groups in a fast-paced ER setting
• Work under the direction of the Director of Emergency Services
• Scrubs of any color permitted, with standard hospital dress code restrictions on outerwear with logos, hoodies, open-toed shoes, and jewelry
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify for the travel rate
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full-time while on assignment
• Weekly orientation held on Mondays
