Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active RN license
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• At least 1 year of recent Emergency Department experience required
• Experience in a high-volume, high-acuity ED preferred
• Strong teamwork mindset with the ability to coach and receive feedback in real time
• Flexibility to work in all areas of the Emergency Department
• Required certifications before start: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS
• ENPC required within 90 days of hire
• Experience with Cerner preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, efficient, and compassionate emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population
• Deliver high-quality RN care in a fast-paced, team-based Emergency Department environment
• Support patient throughput while maintaining strong clinical standards and clear communication
• Work collaboratively with physicians, technicians, clerks, and other members of the healthcare team
• Care for patients across all sections of the ED as needed
• Maintain respectful, patient-centered communication and strong service recovery practices
• Follow unit guidelines, safety standards, and documentation expectations
• Adapt to changing patient needs while contributing to an energized and welcoming department
